Maureen Pollard: We Say Goodbye

We Say Goodbye is a simple, spiritual tribute to the poignant experience of walking a loved one home at the end of their life.

As a grief and trauma therapist, Maureen Pollard writes and sings personal songs as a self preservation strategy. We Say Goodbye was written with the memory of sitting beside her father, and then her father -in-law as their time wound down. It's also a tribute to Maureen's mother, whose time will one day wind down, although at the moment she's still alive and well!

Jim Bryson, of Fixed Hinge Recording, has brought the piano score, composed by Kieren MacMillan, to life. Jim's enhanced its beauty with his intuitive approach to adding instrumentation in this spiritually resonant piece.
